Yes you have to break down the tires.
Man I don't know, but I can't see how something like that would happen, unless somebody just fu*ked with the valve stems......and I have a hard time seeing how they would do that

I could see some A-HOLE doing this it would be easy, back valve out of valve stem to last couple of threads, put caps back on. As tire heats up from riding pressure gets higher and blows the cap and valve out of the valve stem.

Where and how were you parked that you pizzed someone off that bad?
The probable intent was for your tires to go flat while you were still parked.
Extremely unlikely that it would happen to a tire in good repair under normal circumstances. Astronomically unlikely that it would happen to two tires in good repair at the same time.
Did you forget a recent anniversary or birthday at home?
The incident may not have happened at the dealer, it could have been anywhere you parked in the last day or two depends on how the core and cap was set.

I think I'm gonna pull the wheels and have the dealer check them for any leaks and install for peace of mind 'cause I'm a little weary now!

Snipit did u have the cheap plastic valve stem caps or something fancy ?The reason I ask is 2 weeks ago I had a flat as the result of my valve core backing out but the reason mine did was quite clear.My buddy gave my these caps that show if your tire pressure is ok.Well i decided to ring the bike out.... took it up to 105 mph.Long story short ...noticed the bike was handling wierd stopped at service station,notice my fancy valve caps were all smashed up ! It appears that the centrifugal force caused them to move outward and started hitting my brake calipers,both front and rear had done the same thing.The front valve core had backed almost completely out. Hope this helps solve your mystery!
