How exactly would someone "save yourself some money" by buying a Boss Hoss? Those things are close to $50,000 new. Plus they look like chit IMO.
Built motors will last a very long time if properly built, using matched components, tuned well, and ridden withing their limits.
I wondered that too! Might be said to be overkill, no matter how good looking they are.....
There are tuners on HDF who can supply a bolt-on kit, based on stock parts, that will provide truly remarkable performance for much less than a supercharger kit.

(I dont think soo...... ask around and see how much you will spend on getting 125 hp plus....on a harley engine with labor....... I'll bet you it will cost you around 7000/10,000 and thats not even tuning the bike yet.
Trust me I know what it cost to build one.
Just look at a Jims 120/130 almost 9000 grand with out install and they only make 120/130 hp.
I dont want to start a post war here with you. But,,,,
(100 hp 100tq bolt on kits.) You can get for a decent price I will agree with you there. But to make some real power...125 plus Horse power costs money.......
Give me a call some time I will tell you what it costs for one. I am not aloud to post price....here....
Thanks,
Ride safe,
