I have found that a lot of the questions my local dealer and the local indy's ask are do to dealing with dumb *** customers that want something done because they read about it some where and have know idea what it is they are really asking for.
I have worked on friends bikes and found they have no idea what the actual end result is going to be and then they come and bitch at me and all I did was put the part on they bought somewhere.
I totally understand giving someone the third degree before doing work for them.
I also don't do work for my friends anymore, if they want to bitch about stuff they can go and pay to have there work done.
