just back from weekend here. if you're asking me for pics, sorry - i'm digitally impaired, but i ran the clutch cable down the frame like on my ol' softail. now there is an empty hole in the fairing where the cable did run, but i just ignore it...
Also, does anyone if I'll have to remove the (2009) head pipes to get the tranny cover off when I replace the cable?
Larry
Yes, you wouldn't be able to reach the bottom bolts on the tranny side cover. If you are not ready for a tranny oil change, then put the two wheels up onto 2x lumber and lean it way over onto the jiffy stand and all the fluid will go to the left of the tranny and you won't lose but a drop.

PM'd ya-I think I'll let them do the swap before i get it home :-)
My 08 SG w/abs has yaffe apes and he sends the extensions and lines in a supersize kit. I love it. rides much better than stock. I have more leverage on the bike low speed and Hwy. My bars are even with the top of the fairing.
1Harleyrdr,
Did you do it yourself? How about some pics!I've got an 08 SG. Put sweepers on it but did not go with the +2's. Now I want to go up and back.

Dealer just installed my HD pullbacks on my 09 ultra with ABS. I went to see it yesturday.
Clutch cable was fine through fairing and is ok from turn to turn.
Brake line was fine, didn't replace it.
DID replace twist grip sensor for internal wireing.
Replaced grips with Kuryayn ISO grips with Boss.
I get 10% off the parts cause I bought it there, but the labor is the killer. This is the first time I have had a dealer do work on my bike other than the 1000 mile services. Ouch.
