I posted this qustion on the Screaming Eagle CVO section and am not getting any response. Thought I would try to get an answer here.
"Where can I find full specifications for the 2009 Screaming Eagle Road Glide, icluding all optional equipment annd accessories? The HD web site only gives an abreviated version."
Okay...here ya go (I recommend you right-click and SAVE the file to your computer, then open with Adobe Acrobat, rather than view in your web-browser. Also, you'll need to rotate it Clockwise 90 degrees. It's not the best of quality, but the information is directly from the 09 CVO book). [Note: file is kinda big - 21MB, sorry]
Thanks for the information I appreciate it. Is the "new front and rear suspension" the HD profile lowered suspendion front and rear?
FastEddie,
You're very welcome!
The new suspension front/rear is associated with the completely redesigned Touring frame. The new frame uses a new forged frame with 50% less welds. The new frame increases the structural strength of the frame and the "frame flex" that one might feel going into a tight turn is pretty much gone.
During the extended demo ride that I did (filming the HD Touring video in the Black Hills during Sturgis) last August, they had us ride some pretty good twisties and I can tell ya that the frame flex is gone. You point the bike in the direction you want to go and it just goes without hesitation.
To get the "profile" lowered suspension, you still have to fork over $$ to MoCo...Sorry.
