Default 09 wheels- I don't know

Wash and was the bike today and damn them rims were dirty had some stains on them. I guess my hands and fingers are to damn big cause it was a pain in the *** using Mothers wheel polish to clean them. Had lots of water spots on them. Can't get my hands and gingers in there that easy to polish them. The damn rotor are in the way are in the way and then on the rear you got the belt pulley. I said them wheels are pretty but they ain't worth a **** when you check air pressure on the front and I got a air gage with a right angle on it. Looks good on paper but in real life it ain't to fun. I would like to meet the idiot engineer that designed these wheels. Was it you Wille G?

Yep I agree. The stock wheels on the RK standard are SOOO much better looking than in past years but putting air in the tire is a PIA with the way it is.

As far as cleaning the wheels, do yourself a favor and get rid of the HD brake pads. Go with Lyndalls or others that do not make brake dust.

The brake dust causes probably 95% of the dirt on the wheels.

Also, put a few coats of good paste wax or any wax on the wheels and they will stay clean longer. Any dirt can be washed off with soapy water and a rag.

Yes, smaller hands work better then large hands, especially on the rear wheel, sprocket side.

It isn't really how big my hands are, it's the 28 spokes and all it takes to get them clean. I like the old 9 spoke wheels better. It takes forever to properly clean these wheels.

I agree whole-heartily. This will likely be my first mod on my next bike because when I switch to Lyndalls on RKC, the break dust became almost nonexistent.

There is a wheel brush you can buy to get into small places.
