SG Windshield Help Needed
Looking to replace 8" smoked shield I got off ebay with better quality. Shield is inexpensive but scratches way to easy.
Any thoughts on better smoked quality shields?

Don't know if it's what you're looking for, but I have an 8" smoked Clearview shield that I had on my '07 Streetglide. It's the "smoke" tint, not the "dark grey" tint. The smoke is a little lighter. It's got the standard Clearview recurve shape. I just replaced it with a Klockwerks Flare.
It does have a couple of very light scratches on it from one time when I wiped it with a paper towel at a gas station. I imagine they would buff right out, though. But they're so light that they never bothered me enough to do it.

I have had several Fastairs and recommended them here.. When they developed cracks I emailed them and they sent me out a new one..
Still didn't like the wind I was getting but didn't want the height to increase.. So I went with the smoked 8 " Clearview with the recurve..
Haven't looked back.. No issues at all.. Very strong.. solved my wind problem and good looking too.. Don't care for the "KlockWerks" look.. my 02

Funny, I hated it too when I first saw a pic of one.

I would suggest going with a Clearview or Cee Baileys. They are both top quality products and made from very durable material. The Clearview shield you can actually use Rain-X on and it want hurt it.

Another vote for Fastaire. Customer service was great and the price is right. I put the 8" smoke on mine and its better than stock. Still get some wind but the stock sheild is useless unless you are 4 foot 7" of smaller.
