Default Oil Leak

My 2005 Ultra has 20 thousand miles on it. I have just noticed that oil is leaking out from under the rocker box cover on the back side of the back cyclinder. This is the only place on my bike that i see any oil. This shouldn't be leaking this soon should it?

The bike is still under warranty. Is this something that a dealer should cover under warranty?

I didn't think it should be leaking this soon. I really baby my bike and take care of it.

Mine did the same thing at 22,500. It's normal for some of the cover screws to back off slightly due to contraction and expansion. I used a 7/16 ( think that's the size) box end wrench to snug up the screws on both rocker boxes. They don't need to real tight, since they are just cover screws. They haven't leaked since and I was on the road all last week. I'd definately have the dealer check at next service just in case, but I don't think this is a biggie.

If it's still under warranty time, have the dealer put in new gaskets and go another 20k+.

My Primary Shaft Seal went out at 10,000 miles on my 05 FLHRI. I had it replaced under warranty.
