Was looking to get my stock turn signals replaced with LED's. Of course, HD wants to rap ya for a $100+ a set. Found these today but they'd be coming from Hong Kong. What's your thoughts on price and would you be leary buying from somebody that far away? I've been buying on ebay for years but never out of the U.S. Turn Signals
I would have serious doubts about the quality of those lights. If you want LED signals try Customdynamics.com and you can get LED inserts for your signals. Just replace the bulbs.
I am also a long-standing Ebayer and live in the UK, but have bought stuff from all around the world, especially the USA! As well as Ebay UK I also use Ebay USA and occasionally look at some of the European sites as well.
The seller has a reasonable number of sales under his belt and a decent feedback level. It might be worth looking for any negatives, to see what went wrong.
He is targetting the USA, so is friendly to the US market! The things to consider are that it may take several days, perhaps a couple of weeks for anything to get to you from HK, also that you may have to pay US import duties or other taxes, which could add to the cost. You need input from a fellow American to advise you on that.
I have never had any problems with any of the overseas people I have bought from on Ebay.
