PM Dawg and ask him to look up what you want--they were on the 2000 SE Road Glide and/or 2001 SE Road Glide. I've never seen them on any other bike--not saying there isn't an aftermarket product, but HD had them OEM on those SE Road Glides.

I think there is relocation kit - anybody know anything about those kits?

...still haven't figured out what's up with the vette flags on all the posts....

There are kits that move the Tour Pak back an additional 2 inches. I'm using one from Kuryakyn for the detachable mount. It's a bit over $100

Well in between the answers to the relocation kit and the answers to the vette flags I can't tell if anyone answered my question. The leather filler strips I was talking about were also on a 2008 RG with a quick detach chopped tour pack, but I suspect they will work on any tour pack. I have seen them on a few different bikes. Please keep me posted if someone spots any of them. I think they give the hardware a cleaner look and keep the back draft off of the pssenger.

Which detachable rack? If it's the '04 and newer version I have no idea what you are talking about. If it's the pre-'04 version, your question has been partially answered; at least in how to get part nos. They are on either '00 and/or '01 Screamin Eagle Road Glides and you should PM Dawg or stop by your HD dealer and ask to see the parts manuals for those bikes. These are leather panels that cover the space between the top of the detachable rack and bottom on each side of the rack.

Let us know how you make out.

Yes Harleypingman, those are the ones I am talking about. But I also saw some on a used 08 RG like mine. It was at the H-D in Waco and when I went inside and asked about them they said they did not know(I actually got the brush off)where they came from. I just figured they were aftermarket and since I wasn't buying anything else from them that's why they were giving me the brush off. Thanks for the info. I will ask another Dealer and see what they say.
