I think this guy asked a fair question for opinions on what the bike "could possibly sell for" because of his brothers unfortunate situation. Not Smart *** remarks about the financial situation. Some of you guys are just jerks. Any of us could lose our bike for many reasons. I guarantee he doesn't want to sell it.
eBay is a good place to check the going market rate. There's an 07 SG out there now in Denim Blue with 2.5K on the clock and a buy it now price of 16K. There's one offer in place, so apparently someone is offering less. Doesn't sound like a good time to sell at all.

Glad I paid cash for mine! Times are tough and at least I know I don't have a bank hanging over my head if things change in the future. I would post on eBay and Craigs list and see what kind of nibbles you get. I hope it works out for your bro.
Thanks to all for the good input. Appreciate it. Yeah, he doesn't want to sell but a recent back injury and impending surgery has him between a rock and a hard place. Not being able to work is his problem, he's a truck driver and doesn't have the benefit packages some of us enjoy to get by in times like this.
My Bro has fallen on hard times and needs to sell his bike. It's a 2007 Street Glide, pacific blue denium, laced wheels, rush slip-ons, SERT and SE a/c approx 2500mi. I check KBB for him and it says $17550. He owes $19000. Has anyone been looking at what SGs have been selling for? I think he is going to find it hard just to sell it right now let alone get whqt he owes out of it. Thanks.
Sorry to hear about your brothers situation.
Please pass along to him to consider offers in the $15,800 ballpark. If he can get it sold for this amount he should be a few thousand dolars better then outright ditching it with a dealer. I buy used bikes to resell, and while the supply of bikes has steadily increased and purchase price points are reducing, the pool of potential buyers with the ability to lay out over $10,000 has significantly dried up. I realize that he may be upside down on this bike, but this economy has proven to be a very slippery slope when it comes to selling items that are "wants" rather than "needs".
Good Luck, and remain positive that the future will be brighter.
