My Bro has fallen on hard times and needs to sell his bike. It's a 2007 Street Glide, pacific blue denium, laced wheels, rush slip-ons, SERT and SE a/c approx 2500mi. I check KBB for him and it says $17550. He owes $19000. Has anyone been looking at what SGs have been selling for? I think he is going to find it hard just to sell it right now let alone get whqt he owes out of it. Thanks.
Typicals right now are anywhere between 14,000 - 16,500 for most 2007 SG that are actually moving. Even the hopped up high dollar bikes are slow to move and off the mark. Good luck moving it right now and getting fair dollar on it.
Tuff market to sell something right now as we all know. I think the other post of b/w 14k and 16k is about right but more towards the 14 k. I have seen tonnes of 07 heritages with low miles selling in the high 12's to low 13's
Bad times.. Its a good time to buy but a real bad time to sell. He will most likely have to take a loss. I figure if it is a real clean SG he may get $16,000.00 in todays market.
Not sure if this helps as it's apples to oranges....
I traded my 2007 Night Train (5000 mi) for a 2009 Street Glide on Nov 1, 2008...
Dealer gave me 13000 for the NT and came off the sticker a good wayz on the SG.
I know times have gotten worse since then, but I'd figure if I could get 13K out of them on a NT then you should be able to pull a few more G's for the SG.
