Default What Size Apes?
Just got a an 09 road king. Gotta have apes. Seen most people got 16's. Im 6'1 and a buddy suggested 18's. Any one gotta any input?

I'm 6'1 and have 16's on my 08 RKC.Perfect for me.I would try to measure before you really decide and go too high.JMHO

5'9" and have 16"s not much ride time just put them on when winter hit but they feel good after 20 mile

Im 6 ft and have 14s on my roadking with a low profile seat...there at my shoulders

I would run 16"s. Anything bigger will be pretty big. I am 6'2" with the 16's and my hands are right at shoulder height. Very comfortable and look good.

I'm 6'3" and 16" apes seem to be the best choice for me. On stock rake and stretch Harley's they generally put the grips right at shoulder height. I'm ordering a set for my RK very soon and that's the size I'm going with.

I have 16's on sg, but on road king I would get 18's.

I have 14's and love them, very comfortable. I am 6'1". But I don't think you can go wrong with either 14's or 16's.

Funny thing is that I never wanted apes. Thought they were just for show and a pain, but I absolutely love them. If you are looking for that real Ape look, I would probably go with the 16's.
