Been using the s100 cleaner for over twenty some years. I like to use Turtle wax Ice liquid after.

I have been using Harley Glaze on vivid black bikes since they came out with it, I think. I wash the bike, dry it, apply Glaze by finger in a circular motion to painted surfaces and lightly buff off with a dry cloth. I apply by finger so I can feel if there is any grit or other substance that might mar the paint. My vivid black bikes have not had the dreaded swirl marks and one of the bikes was treated this way for twelve years. Works for me.

>>Nothing you put on your bike will give you the lasting results or protection that a good hand wax will give you....<<

And that's exactly what I'm looking for. I knew there'd be many examples posted; that's what I was looking for. I'm book'g each recommendation and will sift through.

Poorboy's Natty's Paste Wax.

Use Pledge from your local supermarket a fraction of the cost and excellent especially on new paint.

Default Best "non"wax

I use Klasse (red bottle). Its an all in one and its the best I've ever used AND I can "non"wax my bike in less then 10 minutes without washing first. I say "non"wax because its a silicone or something not a true carnuba wax. Removes bugs, you can use it on chrome, lexan, glass, paint and it NEVER EVER leaves a white residue. Beautiful shine, last for a long time. Its expensive but its worth it. Google the stuff.

Now thats an interesting way to apply wax. I have done that with metal polishes and with chrome, but never thought to do it with the paint. I will have to try this as my Vivid Black is driving me crazy after one washing!!!!
