I want to mount a 12 volt power supply on my road king, I've seen people mount it in the side covers. But I want to mount it on the front perfer on the left side of the triple trees.

I you dont have a Battery Tender and are thinking of getting one, They offer a fused connector that you attach to the battery directly and can double for a connector to add additional accesory port for power when needed.
Only downside to it is that you will have to remember to unplug your items when not in use
Power Supply? Do you mean something like a battery charger? Or do you mean something that you can plug 12 vdc devices into? What is it you intend on doing?
You can mount it wherever you want it, based on fit. Wireing is the only thing you need worry about. Make sure its NOT on an always hot lead. you want it on a lead that is hot only when bike is on.
Don't know how he wired his, but buddy put one on the front of a fatboy. Mounted it in the tin cover where the aux light switch is.
i got a ciggarette lighter at walltworld for about 5$ in the marine section it came with a small bracket that mounted directley to the windsheild acorn nut just left of the windsheild bag wired it through the acc. jack under seat so i could shut it off with the acc. switch (for rain so it wouldnt short).dont tap the switch wire u will have problems must use the jack under seat.
