Picked up my new RK custom last week . A black cherry pearl one with the 95' screamin eagle upgrade including heads cams pistons. Its a real smooth ride after three years riding a BMW R1200C its a big change. I enjoy the forum and thought some of you might enjoy this story. On my first ride on her I had a smile I could hardly control. As I was crusing I kept hearing a line from a Janis Joplin song "..you know you got it when it makes you feel good.." Well I normally do not name my vehicles but after that ride my Road King is called "PEARL" in honor of a great blues singer . Ride Safe
good choice i love the black pearl. i was supposed to pick up my new bike last sat, a black rk classic. changed my mind im waiting 3 weeks for a black pearl rk
I picked up my brand new 05 FLHRI Road King on saturday. Put 300 miles on it over the weekend. This is my first Harley and it is GREAT. I never thought this would happen, but my wife is telling me to add more chrome to it. The ride on the road is smooth and the bike holds the road. What impressed me is how well it holds up in 20 and 30 mile an hour crosswinds.
Congrats on that new bike. Me and my son got new ones too several weeks ago he bought a XL1200C Sposter and I got the Road King Custom.
