Save up a little more and get real suspension, Penske http://motorcyclemetal.com/
Ask Howard, a site sponsor, more about the Penske shocks. I had the Progressives and they were better than the stock shocks. But then I got the Penske's and they were much better than the Progressive 440's. The bike handled like a race bike in the corners and the ride was very smooth on the roads. They were definately worth the extra money and I would buy them again in a minute!
