Default Supertrapp 2-1 Supermeg

Anyone running a Supertrapp 2-1 Supermeg, and if so how many discs are you running. I have a 2007 RK with a stage 1 a/c and a generic download running 20 discs. Seems to run pretty strong. HOW ABOUT YOU???

I just put that pipe on my RG. I have a K & N air cleaner & filter, & a PC-III from Jamie at FuelMoto. I loaded their map M812-Supertrapp 2 into 1, & fired it up with all 20 discs on the pipe. It fired up well, & ran well, but with more noise than I wanted. I purchased the pipe because I could control the sound level, not for power. After my first ride (about 50 miles) I removed 10 of the discs. The sound level dropped some, & the bike actually felt like it ran better. Smoother & at least as powerful, if not a little quicker. But, the sound was still more than I wanted, so I pulled another 5 discs. Now down to 5 discs the sound is nearly stock, but with the FuelMoto map the bike is way too rich. On a short run it was sluggish & I could feel it loadin' up. Tomorrow I take it to Carl's Speed shop for a dyno tune. Takin' all the discs, fresh plugs, & the old air cleaner with me. I'm going to see if Doug can tune it for quiet, but let him get it to run as well as possible. I'll try to follow up tomorrow afternoon with where we end up.

Default 2:1 Super Trapp on 2008 SG 103 c.i.

I am running the 2:! Super Trapp on my '08 SG which the motor has been upgraded to a 103, 508 lift cams, SE Air Cleaner kit and HD Super Tuner. I am running 13 disc and the sound level seems great to me and much quiter that the 2:2 true dual V&H Big Shots I was previouisly running. Not to mention the performance is MUCH greater. Almost forgot... I'm running the open end cap.

Minor set-back. Rode to Carl's, got the bike ready to go up on the dyno, & as he was gettin' all the electronics started up we found that his software license for the dyno had expired. No big deal except that he can't renew till tomorrow. We'll do the tuning later this week. So far I'm pleased with the installation, look, & sound of the pipe. I'll be really glad to get the tuning done so I can see how the whole thing runs.
