Question 13" Cyclesmiths Question?

My Dad has a 2003 FLHTCI and he is looking to put the 13" Cyclesmiths Bagger Apes on it. I'm looking for some help from those of you that have installed these bars yourself. How much additional length was required for the cables and brake lines? It seems like +7" would be ok, but I want to make 100% sure that will work before I start ordering parts. Thanks in advance!

Thats what I have on mine. I used +6 on mine with no probs. You don't have to extend the wires, theres enough. Just rerout them under the radio. "Note" be sure to debur the holes where the wires go in. Mine were very sharp and would have cut the wires. Its not a hard job, just time consumming. Take pics as you go as to not forget how things go back together. If you don't have a manual, get one. Good luck, you want reget it. One of my best mods I've done for comfort.

Awesome, thanks for the info Glide! I'll will go with +6 then. I just took his fairing off, and there is defintely plenty of wire in there, which makes things alot easier. And I just internally wired the bars on my Night Train, and writing down which color went with which pin made things a breeze. Hopefully the old man likes em! Thanks again!
