Does anyone know what the bulbs are that you use to replace the stock ones with?? Like H4 or ???? I ordered the 68208-98A and they should be here sometime next week. I jsut want to get better bulbs for them before they get here.

I run the HID and passing lamps on my 05 Ultra. Change the passing lamps to 68208-98A with Halogen. The replaced the Halogen with PIAA 55W Ion Crystals. The result is like a parking lot only better. Not quite a football field because the PIAA's are yellow (my choice). They provide plenty of light while reducing the glare fro road signs. Folks at work say they can see me coming form miles away. On coming trffic flash their hi beams and I respond by flashing mine.
I have a friend that did the same on his RG except he has the Silverstars.
Lamps and upgraded bulbs can be had for about $100 total. No problem with the wiring.
I am using the Headwinds. Better styled than the MotoLights, imho of course. And Joel is a pleasure to deal with
The wires come cover with what looks like heat shrink tubing, I covered them with braided sleeving (Techflex Clean Cut™ FR Expandable Braided Sleeving, Black, Flame Retardant) to make justice to the quality of those spotlights.
I have the 55 watt MOTOLIGHTS, yes a lot of money, but I feel they are made very well and the wiring is a direct hook up to the acc socket. Watch their video on the website before you decide, between the how they are made, last and the safety factor you may want to go for them
