2000 RG 95 cc .Im sooo happy it was the pc 3 that dumped. Sunday I was rideing and it just quit, it would turn over but there was no fuel or sparktrailered her home. They did a custom map with install. The triumph dealer said remove it plug back into stock no trouble with that . It came back to life. the strange thing the harlay dealer said that won't make it not run.In the ele forms I here it will kill it dead.Pj triumph is taking her back and making it right.
Your dealer is incorrect. Myself and Mikeisglidn both had our PC's take a dump and both our bikes were dead as hell. Mine was over a year old so I had to eat it and decided to go with a SERT this time. Mike ended up removing his along with the ECM and replaced it with a killer carb.
No, he's serious. His Power Commander took a crap and then his Fuel Injection started acting up. He yanked it and replaced it with a Carb. Bike runs great now. I'm not saying that anyone else should do it. I love my EFI but it worked for Mike.
Im thinking a sert is better for the electrical system. It bites to have it die with no warning and could be dangerous.I think i would have eaten the pc it if it wasn,t for the triumph dealer. I just got my first harly in Nov,Im learning fast how the maintance go's.I treat it as hobbie I like. It would fun to go and meet the brothers in Illionious, just cant make .If you know of any one going to Cripple Creek colorado for the mia pow run in Aug will be a good party. Thanks again Terry.
hell no its not a joke, people pay a bunch of money for new bikes that run like sh*t! i went through the popping, and the bucking and jerking at 30 mph through town, and every time you make a change it screws up the injection and you have to retune the pos. i ripped it all out added a carb and a crane ignition, and i havent had 1 day of missing popping ect ect! if i bought a new bike tomorrow i would do the same thing all over again!
you go ahead and play with yours, im sure it just fine!!

But he's not bitter or anything. The M&M EFI can be frustrating when they get older. Mine is not giving me any problems but I've talked to others (like Mike) who have had lots of problems with them. Add a PCIII that craps out for no reason and there you have it.
I went thru 3 in a row....finally got the SERT and all was well, quit foolin with the pc3! I was so sick of the engine light and error codes . Not worth the hassle!
