Has anyone installed the TWR lowering kit on a Road King. I just bought one. Was wondering if it went on easy and how did it effect the handling of the bike.
I have a 28" inseam. need to get my feet flat on the ground. I am thinking of getting the seat reworked also. My bike is a 2000

I'd like to read some feedback on this too as I'm vertically challenged also. I'm sure there must be someone(s) out there has a review on this product installation.
I had a lowering kit installed. Removed it - didnt like the way it felt and no matter what I did I could not prevent bottoming out and rubbing the tire. Went with 11.5" Progressive 440 shocks and love the results.
before you do that...and i wish i would have tried this 1st is look into a seat from C&C. I also have a 28 inch inseam and i have an 09 RKC.
I opted to lower my bike AND get a reach seat...lowered me a total of 2 inches. Which is cool...BUT i am hearing a seat from C&C lowers you almost 2 inches from stock...and its a hell of alot cheaper.
If i could go back in time thats the route i would have taken 1st.
machpilot: How do find the Reach seat in the comfort dept. particularly as compared to the stocker? My primary consideration is (1) more comfort over stock (2) no higher than stock but an inch lower would be better. Tks.
scale of 1-10...i give it a 6....i have yet to test it out on a trip more than 200 miles...but so far its so so....passenger comfort is good...i think i woul dhave rathered have gone with a C&C seat or something comparable. You gain an inch to the ground by gaining an inch closer to the tank...
