Rhinehart slip on question
Cycle World this month has an article where they put Monster Ovals on a Road Glide with no other changes. It picked up about 5HP and I'm sure the Rineharts would be about the same.
For the most part what you said is correct however most people overlook the following facts about flow and restrictions.
What facts about flow & restrictions did I "overlook"? Everything you said is just a longer, more in-depth version of the exact same thing I said earlier?
When you add after market pipes to your bike your essentially adding a larger "mouth" to your bike...your giving your bike a bigger place to release more air out of. This is not a restriction.
However, once you add this larger "mouth" to your bike your stock A/C now DOES become a restriction. It won't be able to efficiently take in the amount of air that your exhaust wants to expel. This is where you should add a "larger" A/C i.e SE A/C, big sucker, heavy breather...ect.
Your garden hose is filling up the bucket quicker than as if it had a nozzle on it example is true due to the fact of it's happy medium of factors- water pressure, air & size of hose. Each of these factors must efficiently compliment the other to all work effectively in unison. Now if you had a pressure of 110 gallons per minute coming out of that same garden hose then the hose itself becomes the restriction, like your stock A/C is with your after market exhaust.
My point is compensation. You've gotta make up at one end of the "air pump" what you've done to the other end; hence my mouse/elephant story (Ha!).

"With just a wrench and a ratchet, every Harley-Davidson touring owner can be up and running within an hour. And this kit is designed so that you don't need a tuner upgrade. Just wrench and ride."
What do we do?

I'll be installing my Stage 1 parts in another week or so, after my PC-V and a/c arrives from Fuel Moto. The "heat" issue is a big benefit of using a controller like the PC-V.
