Instead of spending 100 bucks on a removable kit and then have to screww around with installing it, why not just unscrew three bolts and remove the engine guard and attached lowers as one unit. Then you can bolt on a HD mustache bar or a Lind? They look so much better and it is so easy. Or find a cheap HD factory guard on line. There is a guy selling one on one of these threads. He got a spare from the dealer and doesn't want it. JMO

Will do. I'm guessing their about the same as when i put them on my '05 SEEG...arguably better than stock, but I didn't have to mess with air pressures and I went lower..
But yes...I'll let you know how these worked out...
Also I agree on the quick release stuff...I put my stuff together AND mounted them up in under 20 minutes. Of course I've been doing the on and off thing with lowers for a while...

That is one bad a$$ looking road king...yup the 8" is perfect for me...less wind yet still looks good...not that a large windscreen looks bad, but I still like wind...if it's not too bad..
