GEEZUS, Fellas!
Stopped in my local dealer today, shootin' the breeze with my salesman friend.
Started talking about the Road Glide.
He shows me his "Delivery Sheet" for Qtr 4.
They have a '09 Screamin Eagle Road Glide that'll be in, in June.
The color they had was the Orange/Black.
He told me he could change the color to the Silver that I'm squirmin' for.
All he needs is a $1000 deposit and it's MINE!
Absolutely my favorite Harley right now. I was going to get the Orange/black, and I would've if it had ben immediately available, but I had to wait and cooler heads prevailed and I went with the Ultra instead. Something about another $13k all-in on top of the crappy economy kind of made me re-think my decision.
Personally I like the Orange/black the best, but on the CVO site the guys that've bought the silver/back really like them. Course, if you've got to wait until June why not wait for the 2010? There are a lot of guys that think the 2010 will come with a tour pack and lowers...
I was in the local Harley dealer and they have the silver and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! It looks white from a distance and I tell you I loved it but I just bought a 09 ultra a month ago! GO FOR IT! You wont regret it!
No I would not. The SE bikes are sweet looking. I bought a 08 road king and had all kinds of motor trouble!! Look at this and the last couple issues of American Iron magazine to see what their tech guru says (fix the problems) pay 32K to fix problems no thanks!! Also visit the www.cvoharley.com and check out what people there have to say!!
Yeah.
In this economy...noway could I get even close to what I have in it.
I'd most likely have to strip it and sell parts off it to get a decent amount.
And, it's still "new" to me.
I've only got 3600 miles on it since I gave it the makeover.
It's paid for, isn't costing me anything sitting in the garage.
I ride it, I don't build "trailer queens."
Sounds to me like you need to think real hard about whether he's your friend or your salesman!
Personally, I don't need a saleman to convince me that I like them. I just need someone to remind me I can't afford everything I like. And my wife has that job all figured out.
