Personally... I've had great luck with Corbin seats.... HOWEVER there has been a trend on the forums lately regarding their Customer Service. IF you can get your hands on an "off the shelf" seat, and it fits.... I got the best prices from Denis Kirk. You'd most likely be better off finding out WHERE they'll be at a given Rally, and buy it there, as they will often "work with you, and adjust the seat for you and then you'll have a custom seat made for YOU
I've bought two or three slightly used Corbin's off of EBay. Been very pleased, and saved at least $200 on each one. You might consider that unless you're dead set on getting new. Both of the ones I bought were blemish free, and have hardly ever seen the sun. Just look em over closely, and ask all the questions you want before buying. To give you an example I bought a very nice (like new) dual tourer Corbin for $225, shipped to my door. Good Luck
what kind of bike this goin' on? i have a classic solo with a hollywood pillion and oval rider's backrest with chrome insert that came off my '06 streetglide i'll sell ya.
I went directly to Corbin; 07 RKC. Studs were a free cosmetic, I like them. What seemed to matter more was flame stiching. This added just enough extra fill to allow all day riding.
Can anyone advise between corbin and mustang which would seat you further back as opposed to forward.I'm shopping but cant decide at this point.Cant afford a forward sitting seat.thanks
I don't know if this is any help or not, but I have a Corbin and a Mustang. My Corbin is a solo and the Mustang is for two up. The Corbin feels like I have a world of room. I don't get that feeling from the Mustang. If they were both solo or double seats the comparison would be better, but that's all I have to go on.
Thanks, i'm looking for solo+pillion, but i would like to be able to sit back and down.Dont want to commit to a seat that i wouldnt like.Another reason i was asking is there is a forum member here selling a complete mustang set for good price.

Most HD dealers have the Sundowner tall boy seat (I think). Anyway they have one that moves you back and down. At least there you could put it on your bike and sit on it before buying.
If you're going to Daytona, Corbin would be a good trip point where you could order a custom seat from the factory.
