Can someone tell me how in the hell to get water spots off? We have hard water where I live. I rinse really good, and the blow it dry with a leaf blower afterwards, then hand dry. Even after waxing, I still see them. I use good products, but still can't seem to get them off.
I might mention my bike is Vivid Black Ultra. I know there's an expert here somewhere, thanks.
I use the Mr. Clean wash system for the rinse. It has a filter in it that removes the minerals from the water so you get a spot free finish. I don't typically let my bike air dry, as it takes forever when it's humid out. I use the Mr. Clean to rinse with the filtered water then blow the bike off with an electric leaf blower to remove the water from most of the cracks and crevices.
I'll second Raaze07 on the filtered water system, you might even try a water softening agent that can be mixed in small bottle and attached to your hose.
Old detailers trick.....try a little cleaning vinegar on a clean, soft cloth and then wash and put a good coat (or 2 or 3) of Rejex on it afterwards to keep it from spotting again. In extreme cases you may have to use a clay bar but the vinegar will normally take care of it. Good luck!
I've heard of that vinegar and water mixture working also and +1 one on the Mr Clean System.
If it's really hard water you could try some C.L.R. spot remover, just make sure you try it some where that's out of sight first, just in case.
