I use a product from The Wax Shop called Safe Cut. It's always worked for me. But thinking about it I guess any swirl remover-type stuff would work for the water spots.

Thanks for the advice guys, I will give it a try. Not for a week or two though, my Azz is wore out from doing it today, and I just got back from a two hour ride into the mountains. that was a trip doing the twisties at night, but very cool.

Here is the simple fix, use distilled water.

I just went through this on a windshield I was selling, couldn't keep the damn thing from water spotting until the light turned on........hustled up to the supermarket and got a gallon of distilled water. It's only a little over a buck.

I just put in a spray bottle & the windshield was spotless when I was done. If your bike is real dirty you probably don't want to be out there with a spray bottle but you get the idea. Give it a shot. Maybe get a hose sprayer and fill up the tank with it if you need to do the whole bike.

Go to the car wash, they usually have soft water. Also hot water will work sometimes.

I thought I was the only one that used a leaf blower to dry with. I run a lawn service so when I wash the ride I strap on the backpack blower and start drying.

there is a detailing clay....sounds weird but it take off the crap you cant get off withnormal cleaning...true story...my ex once decided to spray stain on our untreated fence ....we she didnt move her car....had little orange stain spots on the car...this stuff got it off....made the paint feel like satin after....put a nice wax after and it looked new...you can get that clay at auto zone and places like that....i have a black truck and in the sproing im attacking it with it...

it literly looks like a ball of playdo...but its gentle...

Use Detailing Clay. You can buy it at an Auot Store. Try Mequiers or Mothers. It's the best answer to your issue.
