I was wondering what everyone uses to wash there bike? Water, soap, hand wash and hand dry? Spray on, rinse off and hand dry? completely Waterless? Also what brand(s) do you use?
I have always used the spray on, rinse off and then hand dry process but have been talking to a bunch of people lately that have gone all waterless and think that I may give it a try.
I use Meguiar's Hyperwash with a sheep fur mitt and the two bucket meathod. After it's washed and dry, depending on how long it's been I'll hit it with some duragloss 105 paint sealent and pretty much everytime I wash it it gets a coat of Meguiar's gold class carnubs wax. I'm not as thorough as I should be as I still need a set of brushes to get in the nooks and crannies. This is all stuff I use to detail my cars that I've had and now my Jeep.
When it is real dirty soap, water, etc. But when it isn't too bad I use the stuff called Lucas "slick mist" from Auto zone, does a nice job and if you use it on the windshield it makes the bugs come off much easier next time.
