A friend of mine has an 08 and he has a 27in. inseam. He has thicker soles shoes and he rides the crap out of it. He did put a passenger grag bar on for the purpose of moving it around in the garage.
A friend of mine had reverse put in his EG Classic last week. It is a Baker F6R. Real nice setup but he paid the dealer $2600 (parts and labor) to have it installed. It works really well for him but that's a bit steep for my wallet. The dealer only charged him 5.75 hours of labor but when he picked it up the tech told him it took almost 14 hours to do the full job. I seem to remember the Baker rep telling me it was a 4 to 5 hour job. They also said it isn't an install they recommend for the average weekend wrench.
I am 5'7" with 30 inch inseam and have no problems with my 04 Ultra and it has the stock seat and has not been lowered. I can get both feet down flat wearing tennis shoes. the bike is as easy to handle as my Dyna.
I'm 5'8" with a 30" inseam and I have an '08 Ultra. I did install the lower rear shocks ( 3/4") and if I am in gym shoes I cannot flat foot the bike while sitting in the seat, with boots on I can. My next step is going to be some pull back handlebars and then a reworked seat.
As far as backing the bike up, I've really had no problems so far, but I have not parked on an incline either. As I get older the reverse will look better and better. Maybe after I add the sidecar!
