Default Orange Radio light

I have an 09 Ultra which I think is the best bike made today. I have one small item I wish I could change, the orange light on the radio. I know you can adjust the brightness but I have a difficult time reading the orange screen. Is there a way to change the color to perhaps white? Is it just a matter of changing the bulb? I purchased Hogtune speakers and I should be receiving and installing them early next week and thought it would be a good time to work on the radio color.

I would like to find out as well even though I think we are stuck with thus way. I wished they were green like the rest of the gauges. Iam thinking of replacing it just because of the light.

I think there is a contrast adjustment. This may help with
the visibility issue.
No help with the color.

No, there is no bulb. Some radio in the past, ie Alpine made duel color face, but most are stuck in the color they come in. My best suggestion is to replace it with one that has the color face you want. The only problem with that is, the CB, weather channel, so you are pretty limited to your selections. It would think it would be easier to change all of your guages to the color of the radio. Sorry to hear about that on the '09s. Mine is a 2007, and my radio is red, and my guages are red, so it matches. Although, I also agree with you, I can not read my screen for crap, even in the day, with the glare. What I did, was bring it in the garage, turn the bike on, but not running, and play with the radio and hand controls. You don't want to get into a wreck trying to figure all of this stuff out on the road.
