I would like to hear from those that have installed Clearview shields on their Street Glide. I have decided on this brand and want to hear from those that have purchased and installed this. I an still undecided between the 8 inch and 9 1/2 inch recurve, but talking quality here.
Would you buy from them again? How is the quality? Are you happy with the purchase? Did you rip it off and buy something else?
Please, This is strictly asking about the Clearview Shields and your satisfaction with the product.
I have 8" with recurve..dark gray.. no wind buffeting. I am 6'2". And I do look over it, well over it, it is not in my way at all, but the same time I can duck behind it if needed.
Suggest 6&1/2 - 8 - 10 depending on how tall you are..
Got a 10.5" recurve. Here's the weird part: I'm 5'7" with 30" inseam. Have the seat lowered and narrowed by MeanCityCycle, plus 11" shock from Bitchin'baggers. When I sat on the bike, I'm looking slightly over the shield. Not through it.
Just got the shield earlier this year, can't ride yet, too cold in Indiana here. But I was sitting on it comfortably. Not that it matters, but I thought with my height and shield combo, I should be looking through it.
Unless my upper body is way out of proportion that I didn't know about?
