Question Kury lightbar 2098 question

I just ordered this for my scoot, can't wait to throw it on! Looking at the ad it's showing the license plate light illuminated as a blue. Has anyone tried or know if it's possible to change the color? What do you guys think? Thanks

With out looking at it, I can not tell you for sure. It does not look to be an LED so, I would say remove the bulb, and replace it with a blue one. If you are unable to find a blue bulb, then you can mix some blue paint with thinner. The kin of paint you use for models, and dip the bulb in, and hang it to dry. Assuming the bulb is clear. It will leave a blue tint to it. I did this for automotive bulbs when I had a lowrider. I am glad I grew up. Anyway, if it is an LED, then you will need to replace it with a blue LED. If that would even be possible. I do not know your mechanical and electrical skills. The best thing to do would be to call Kury, as you refer to them, and ask them. It may be an option, but I doubt it. I honestly don't see where you see this blue light though.

Anyway, here is all I found on your lights.

On Kury's site, the 2099 is the light bar that comes with the 2098 setup. Take a look at the pic and tell me if the light isn't blue? That's what I was trying to get away from and change it to green. Thanks for the info on the bulbs, I'll keep that in mind when installing. This the light I'm seeing

Got word from Kury, The lights are white LED's with a bluish tint to them and color cannot be changed. Wonder if the tips of the LED's can be dipped in paint to change color?
