Help with a wacky question please

When I pull my fully loaded Bushtec trailer behind my Ultra, I'm pulling a maximum of about 280 pounds. This puts a strain my ability to accelerate, but more importantly on my ability to safely brake in a hurry. The Bushtec has a proprietary hitch designed for it, air suspension and 16" wheels on independent "A" arms. It is also only 7' long. Altogether, I only have 25-30 pounds of tongue weight which is very important.
Your trailer sounds like it could reach 400+ pounds loaded.
In my opinion, your tongue weight could be difficult to control, the length of the trailer could create handling issues, and the overall weight will definitely put a strain on your engine, tranny, and brakes.
Others on this web may have experience pulling this size and weight of trailer, but I don't. But I do know how the Bushtec feels and it is arguably the best pull behind trailer out there.
If I were you, I'd consider another option.
