yes i think he did a great job, i bought this bike used last year. The tuner said he had to start from scratch and build a custom map. he said it took him alot of time. just cant beleive the difference in the bike now!
I know what you are talking about when you say idles too fast. I thought the same thing when I installed my PC3. Before I was just running the stage 1 download and it idled slower and running too lean. When I checked the idle when I installed the PC3 I am getting 980-1100. So all is good.
i just talked to the guy that dynoed my bike, he said when the bike came in it was only idling at about 700 rpm,s, he said that it to low and could cause alot of problems. he said now it idles riht at 1000 rpms. so i guess its right it just sounds high to me? but i guess ill get used to it. what kind of damage is he talking about if it idles to low? does this make sense to everyone else? thanks again
I was just reading something about this yesterday. I think the engine doesnât get the proper amount of oil running through it when the RPMâs are that low. Some said you need to be running at least 900 rpmâs and other said they have been running lower than that for years and had no problems.

See PhilM's reply at the start of this thread. Don't mess with the idle speed. If your tuner was talented and smart enough to get those kind of numbers out of your combination, don't you think we set the idle speed correctly?

**** should read "don't you think HE set the idle speed correctly?*****
i understand all of that , but i think it sounded better when it idled lower, you could here the cams in it then. now you can't. oh well i guess i will just have to get used to it!
Did you notice an increase/decrease in MPG of any significants?

Underdog, I see you are in Indy. I am too. Who tuned your bike? Sounds like he knows what he is doing. I have a RK on order and am looking for a good local tuner.
