Wild BillAce2:My Heritage type bars go back at the same rake as the stock bars and come back enough for me to ride in a comfortable position. I can see both of your Road Kings have the bars turned back while mine goes up the same angle as the forks. Works great.

Ok, been reading a lot here and will ask this question. Heritage style bar or chubby Wild 1's W0513's 8 1/2", 515's 10" or 502's 12 1/2". These will go on my 2010 Road King Classic. I'm 5'8" just over 200 lbs with a 30" inseam. Have no clue what my reach is. I'm leaning towards the 515's with the 10" rise. Give me the good the bad and the ugly. Thanks all.

Default bars

Well on mine I have the 10" Apes, and I love them, being 6 ft and having pretty long arms. Wild ones are the bomb, and make it a whole new bike IMO

I'm in the same situation with my '07 RKC. I'm 5'10" with short arms and these stock bars are killing my shoulders. If I figure out which bars I need, I'll be in great shape.

A friend just put the Chubby 502's, 12 1/2" rise on his RK. Feels great, but I'm not sure I want to go that high. I actually like the height of the stock bars, I just need them to come back to me more. I don't want to have to roll the bars to me. I like the look of the straight line with the bar in line with the forks. Again I think I'm leaning to the 515's with 10" rise but if I like the lower height, the 513's with only 8 1/2" rise might be what I need. I guess I'm looking for people that have these on their bike and tell me what they think, ie. I have the 515's but wish I would have went higher, or I have the 513's and love them. Some pictures of what they look like on the bike would be great. Chubby's web site has a limited number of pics.

Default Harley guy said mine are pre drilled for wiring?

I have never installed internal wiring before but I just purchased a set of the heritage style bars for my 09 Road King. I took this photo to show the two small holes that are pre drilled from harley. Aren't these holes for internal wiring?

Right now I have the stock bars, and while they aren't too bad, they are a tad bit uncomfortable on longer runs. So I was just curious, will the 56902-08 bars also fit on older model RKs? I have an 06, so will they work with non throttle-by-wire systems too, or are they specifically designed for the TBW? And seeing as I am dealing with cables and not wires, will I have to replace the throttle cables? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

those holes are for a couple of cable stays. Black plastic pieces with a barb on each end and the ends go inside the handlebar. Keeps the cables on the left side close to the bar.
