Ride solo 90% of the time. I wish the G/F would get a license, but wants no part of it. She is an outstanding passenger, the bike handles better with her on the back than with just me zipping around. I carry a pillion in the bag for her if she wants an unplanned ride. "Her Seat", as she calls it along with the backrest can be put on in minutes. I hate the look but what can I do!

Here's mine. I have the passenger boards on it just in case my wife wants to go for a ride. Off comes the luggage rack, on goes the pillion and detachable backrest and we're set.

However, I have yet to run the full two-up configuration.

Best of both worlds, IMO.

I ride 100% solo, I did remove the boards and put a set of SG pegs on but no one uses them.
My wife for some reason thinks that I would kill her if she rode on the back.
I don't get it!!

I ride solo 100% of the time. My setup is almost identical to iclick's except mine is cobalt.

I kept my passenger pegs on my SG because on long trips it helps to change my leg position. I'll put my feet on them like jockey stirrups. If I had passenger floorboards, I would change to the pegs for just that reason.

If you want to keep yours, Primo, you should just powdercoat them black and that way they would blend in with the bike better but still be there if you need them.

Well I took off the floorboards and Kury adj passenger pegs yesterday. Wasn't a factor but the bike dropped at least 15 lbs once you throw in the mounting brackets as well.

Was going to do the hex head/ hot topper thing with the exposed holes but I think I'm going to get some black plastic plugs from the dealer tomorrow instead.
