Road Tech radio

Anyone using the Road Tech radio on their Road Kings? Was told that they fit in where the fork lock cover is, and looks like a factory install.

Have you seen one installed? Just my opinion but it doesn't look good at all. I've never seen one actually in use on a bike, only at the dealership.

I've had one on my Road King for the last 3 years. It mounts right above the fork lock. Don't get me wrong, its not a seamless install, its definately something sitting on your handlebars. I don't even notice the "look" because it sits behind the windshield anyway. Now if i was to ride without the windshield, it would look like something sitting on my handlebars. They are not a bad unit, can generally find them for a pretty good price (compared to the dealer anyway) on E bay. I think they are a good alternative for those that want music but don't want to go with a fairing.

Put one on my 07 RKC. I couldn't hear it above the wind noise without a good set of earbuds. No mech. problems at all with it for 22k mi. I went to an EGC last year,one reason being a better radio.I just installed an Arc mini amp with speakers last mo.
