These are python predator slip-ons on my '09 flhx with stock headers. Good low rumble at idle and bellows nicely when I get on it. Not quite as loud as I thought they'd be, but I'm getting used to it (I'm used to drag pipes).
that is funny that u have these mufflers on your bike. i was on the phone with vance and hines today and they told me that these mufflers would not work on an 09. i told them that drag specialties and jp cycles both had them listed as fitting an 09. the man from vance and hines insisted that they would come in contact with the frame and shocks. he claimed that this was the info that their research and developement department came up with. please let me know how they work out. i think he was looking at the python website that looks like it has not been updated in a while. i am very interested in them. have u considered putting on the power duals from vance and hines.

Python lists them as fitting 95 to 08 (http://www.pythonperformance.com/pro...1482&prod=6635), but there were no fitment problems on my 09. It's a 3 1/2" slip-on on the stock headers, so I don't know why they think they'd come in contact with the frame and shocks. I've got just shy of 1000 miles on them, and am pleased with the performance and sound. I'm thinking about going with the dresser duals rather than the power duals. I know I'll take a small torque hit fom the stock cross-over, but I'd like to hear the two cylinders firing independently. Would like to upgrade the cam to gain some torque, but will probably be a while as I don't want to drop the $$ right now.
i looked on the python website already and saw the fitment guide for them, 95-08. however, according to drag specialites and jp cycles, they are supposed to fit 09 models. i figured python just didn't upgrade there website yet or just made a typo. let me know how they sound when u put the dresser duals on them. what kind of mapping adjustments are u going to have to make. i have not found any maps for this setup yet
I had my dealer order them, from drag specialties I believe, when I bought the bike - same price listed by Python ($500). I've got a SERT and had the bike dyno tuned with the new mufflers and stage I air intake. I'll probably need to retune if I put duels on (especially since I'll probably change the cam at the same time).
