Need Information On CB Unit

I have a 07 Street Glide. It says CB on my radio but when i hit it , it says its not hooked up. So what do i have to do to get a CB hook up on my SG ? Is it a chip or what ?

you need a module and harness and i am sure there are other parts.

Module ? I thought all you needed was the wiring ? I thought the radio was the CB

You don't have navigation (GPS) either, but the radio is capable of running them. Kind of plug n play..
All it will take is some more $$$

you harley can put it on for about $1200. the cb is a seperate unit that sets ot top of
the radio but then you need all the wire harness mikes console and some other stuff

Like the others have said the street glide can have a CB installed. The CB unit is a seperate module that sits atop the radio. You will need the wiring harness that plugs the CB into the back of the radio, you will need a mike and a headset and a place to plug the mike and headset into and you will also need an antenna. All of this is alot of money for the parts and more for the labor, if I had a StreetGlide and wanted a CB I would look at J&M Corporations stand alone CB unit. Much cheaper and easier but not the clean look of an HD integrated unit. OR how about an Ultra.
