A few changes to the RG
Well picked up a shorty antenna, some new grips, the Stainless Steel radio face plate and ordered a set of floorboard extnetions from Soos (didn't get those yet). I was kind of concerned about the grip change on the throttle by wire side, but it was easier than the cable style. The left side was all the same, cut of the old grip, sanded the glue off and slid the new grip on, right side, took off the control housing and the stock grip slides right off. Just slide the new one on and your all set. It took me maybe 10 minutes to change out the trips on the throttle by wire, way faster then throttle cables. Shorty antenna is great and makes the bike look nicer although it was a pain to get the threads started for some reason. Oh well, hopefully I can sell enough of my old softail parts to pay for a some Jackpot slipons and a PCV.
