Thinking of changing my stock exhaust on my 08 Road Glide and adding a Stage 1 air cleaner. Two HD dealerships in my area are giving me conflicting advice. 1 says I can accomplish this with a simple re-mapping. The other says i need to purchase HD's super tuner. Help....

 

I am sure you will get different opinions, but my advice is to go ahead with some sort of tuner if you are switching the air box. I have the stage one download with slip-ons and the stock air box with a K&N filter with no problems, but a free flowing air box would put my bike too lean for the simple stage 1 download. Jamie at Fuel moto comes highly recommended by members here.
