Default engine heat deflectors

Anybody have any experience with using engine heat deflector? I saw a set on a RK and traced the source to http://www.rjsoriginals.bizland.com/eglides.htm They are pretty pricey, so any feedback is welcome.
Thanks

I don't have them but thought about it. For the price I went with the fullsac and I can't believe the difference! Its a pleasure to stop at a light again.
I kinda like the looks of the deflectors but true duals get rid of the heat! I was a little concerned with some guys saying you loose low end but I've noticed no lose what so ever. Just stereo pipes and NO fried thigh!

I'm about to go with Vance&Hines true dual headers and Rinehart slipons. Glad to hear this will reduce the fried thighs. Rather not spend $140 for two pieces of plastic.

The deflectors from rjoriginals are made of aluminum and work very well. Look like they belong
on the bike.
