The LCD display has gone out on my 06 Ultra radio. Still have the red back-light. Is there a cheap fix for this (no warranty) or is replacement the only answer.
Did moisture get in it some how? Last year I had this happen to me after washing it. I let it set in the hot sun for a couple of hours and the display came back after it dried out. Then ran a bead of silicone around the face of the LCD and haven't had an issue since. "Knock on wood"

I had this also....I thought I had a bad radio. It wound up that I had somehow just got the contrast turned down. Get out your owners manual and check this out first.
