Harmon Kardon repair
I did a search on radio repair and the info I found was helpful BUT Radio Sound in KY doesn't work on them any more and United radio only works thru the dealers any body know where I can have it fixed myself? The screen is blank but everything else works fine . radio is in my 06 Street glide

united radio is the only authorized repair shop in the us and their contract is exclusive to hd. the way i did it was to talk to the owner of my dealership and they allowed me to ship it and receive it through them at only 275 the cost of the refurb. no warrenty from the dealer but refurb is only 90 days so no real loss

Not to sound like a smartazz, but is there a chance that the display text darkness has been accidentally set to the max lightness? That was one of the first things the salesman showed me on mine. If you adjust the display too light you cannot see anything at all, therefore you'd have a difficult time finding the setting to readjust it.
