Radio problems 04 EGC
We are having problems with our Radio messing up. It works then on it's own and everything goes like the scan button had been pushed when it hadn't. The bass, treble displays on the screen and you can't change stations or anything it just locks it up. Can some one please help

I have contacted Radio Sounds and they told me to take it to the dealer and have them run a diogniostic on the radio before they would except the radio, I took it to Texoma Harley and they said that the radio was working fine... If it is working fine then why am I still having problems?...
I took it back to them and they said that it was my amplifier so they unhooked that and it still happened and then they said it was a short???
I am beginning to think they don't know....
Then today when I went to work, the radio started messing up again and wouldn't shut off and the screen was still in the search mode without me pushing the button.
