How many videos of wrecks have you seen where there was NO video camera present?

+1 on the Gopro Hero. Comes with bike and helmet mounts and does awesome video. Downside is battery consumption.

I think I'll just do it the old way, stop have a coke and a dip, take some pics and be on my way.

That's my wife's job, taking photos. However, I take some large, long group rides and that would be cool. I am looking for the one I found last year. It has a glove to activate the camera with your thumb. It is only a lens and transfers the photos to the camera. It is a movie camera

I have a Memorex HD with an 8g SD card. Very small and light. I have a Ram Mount setup. Looking forward to using it this April in the Smokies. I also have my Wife on the back for covering moving groups. A friend's Wife did it last year and got some great clips on the twisties. Enough to convince me it is worth the setup.

These will record almost 8+ hrs on the highest setting.
They are palm sized and there are several ways to mount them.
You can mount to the handlebars, to the forks, or the crash bars.
If your planning a long trip you can bring along a laptop and download to it at days end.
I would be careful about getting a camera using a HD for recording. Vibrations from the bike will kill the disk. Need one with solid state memory or a tape. Unless you isolate the vibrations.
