Is the small black shield for a batwing? It's sitting on top of the taller shield for comparison. Ordered both of these for the RG but the mounting holes are completely different. WTF?

 

Yes, the top one is for batwing.

 

Top looks like "batwing"..... Electra Glide
Bottom looks like "sharknose"..... Road Glide

 

did you just order it from cee baileys? I ordered one for my sg and they sent one for a RG. I caught it before they shipped it and they sent the correct one. If thats the case let them know they were very polite and made the correction immediately.

 

Thanks for the input batwingers! Ya, They are from Cee Baileys. Doesn't sound like they run a very tight ship. They had called me a couple days after i placed the order asking me what i wanted Kind of sloppy if you ask me

That is what I am thinking, but it is hard to tell with the SSC shields. I just got one from the last weekend sale. I am disappointed with the performance, and the dark grey looks more like a dark bronze. Overall I am disappointed since I heard so many great things about their shields and service. I emailed them about the color a week ago and still have not heard a reply.

 

Where in Iowa are you? If you are close to me, I might take the batwing shield off your hands.
