picked up a set with red led on ebay for 65.00 it was from idaho precision machine and fabrication. not installed yet but the quality looks really good

I have heard the LED ones and 3X brighter and last forever...will almost.

I have heard the LED ones are 3X brighter and last forever...well almost.

I bought the Auto-Gem kit but only used the lights for a couple of months, just didn't like the look. I found some chrome caps to plug the holes. Looking back, I would have just cut the grab bar since it's just collecting dust in my big box of old parts. But I would take it off before cutting.........

just ordered the LED version and I have yet to instal them..
hopefully they look cool!!!

the standards are not very bright you almost cant see them in day light if i were to buy them again i would get the leds for sure. And i would buy them again they really clean up the rear

Baddagger I have a set of red leds that i bought and decided to go a different wrought they are from Idaho precision will take 50.00 shipped never installed just been sitting in the closet some body should try them out very well constructed chrome is very good will try and post a picture and one of my bike you can see why I couldnt use them

I went with the LEDs. They are plenty bright. I've changed my taillight since I took this pic and replaced it with one from ridetimetechnology.com. Looks much better now.
