2009 RKC bags
How hard would it be to Swap out the hard leather bags for hard bags when going on a long trip and needing the security of a lockable hard box then swap back to the hard leather bags for local use? I love the hard leather look. If it is not that hard, any suggestions on where to pick up hard bags would be great. Thanks in advance

Piece of cake dude. Takes all of 5 minutes to position the brackets so the holes line up. Check on ebay or craigslist for hard bags. BTW, police bags seem to bring the lowest price, at least in my area they do.

Bought em off a forum member, who actually lives in TX as well. Got a great deal, $600 shipped and they were brand new & vivid black so I just took em out of the box and mounted em up.
Unless your in a hurry, don't spend the MSRP on a new set, look for a good used set and either have em painted or hopefully find a set that match already. I got lucky. I have some pics of my bike w/the bags on it in my gallery.
I love the look of it w/hard bags.
